What Kind of Florida Will Our Children Inherit?

On Tuesday, Florida elects a new governor.

Whoever wins will help decide what kind of state our children grow up in. Government is one of God’s institutions, and the person leading ours will shape life, family, education, and religious liberty in Florida for years.

We’ve made real gains here. Parents can choose the school that fits their child. Preborn children have more protection. Churches have more room to serve their communities. Those wins came hard, and what’s won at the ballot box can be lost there too.

Some believers have decided voting doesn’t matter, or that it’s too worldly. We understand the weariness, but we don’t share the conclusion. Scripture calls us to seek the welfare of the city.

That’s why we built the Choose Well Church Toolkit. It helps pastors equip their people biblically, without getting political. It includes a 30-second video for Sunday announcements, a QR code that sends congregants to our voter guides, and short primers on God’s design for government.

Early voting ends Sunday, so this weekend is the last chance for pastors to put a guide in front of their congregations. Every donation from supporters like you helps to share our resources with more Floridians.

Will you make a tax-deductible gift today to help us reach as many Florida Christians as possible before polls close Tuesday? Gifts to FFV received before year-end are being matched dollar for dollar.

Your gift carries past Tuesday, too. Whoever takes office, we’ll be in Tallahassee holding them to their word.

P.S. Know a pastor? Forward this before Sunday: flfamily.org/choose-well-church-toolkit. Adding the video to a Sunday slide takes two minutes.
