Marriage and the Public Good
Marriage’s significance extends throughout society. Strong marriages support stable homes, strengthen communities, and help nurture the next generation. There is no more fundamental or necessary institution for the protection of children and the advance of society than marriage.
Marriage also bears witness to the covenant love of Christ for His Church (Ephesians 5:25–32). Through sacrificial love and enduring commitment, husbands and wives reflect truths about God’s goodness, faithfulness, and redemption. Upholding this design also calls us to offer practical care to families facing hardship and honor the faithful work of adoptive parents, foster parents, and single parents.
Florida Family Voice works to defend marriage, equip the Church to teach and support healthy marriages, and advance public policies that strengthen and promote marriage.
