Religious Liberty

The Importance of Defending Religious Liberty

Our Christian faith shapes how we worship, raise our children, and serve our neighbors. Religious liberty protects the freedom of individuals, families, churches, and ministries to live according to their convictions without unjust government interference or coercion.

Because faith involves conscience and conviction, it cannot be produced by government compulsion. Moreover, a free society must respect the limits of government authority over religious belief and practice. People should be free to worship, express their convictions, and participate in public life without being required to abandon their faith.

Religious liberty enables churches and ministries to serve their communities according to their convictions. It protects their freedom to teach their beliefs, carry out their religious mission, and maintain their religious identity.

Florida Family Voice works to defend religious liberty in public policy, equip believers to understand and exercise this freedom, and build relationships between the Church and government. We seek a Florida where faith can be expressed openly, conscience is respected, and the Church remains free to proclaim the Gospel.
