Eleven US States File Lawsuit Against Feds Over Obama Transgender Bathroom Mandate
FFPC President John Stemberger Calls on Florida Gov. Rick Scott to Show Leadership &  Join the Lawsuit in front of White House

TALLAHASSEE- On Wednesday May 25, 2016, eleven states and representative entities filed a lawsuit in federal court against the United States, the US Department of Justice, the US Department of Education and against a variety of federal government entities and department heads in response to the Obama Administration’s recent unconstitutional and dangerous mandate requiring boys be allowed to use and access girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, in public schools. 

The states joining into the lawsuit include: State of Texas; Harrold Independent School District (Tx); State of Alabama; State of Wisconsin; State of West Virginia; State of Tennessee; Arizona Department of Education; Heber-Overgaard School District (AZ); Paul Lepage, Governor of the State of Maine, Pro Se; State of Oklahoma; State of Louisiana; State of Utah; State of Georgia. Rick Scott Take Action Now Obama MandateFlorida Family Policy Council President John Stemberger is calling for Florida Governor Rick Scott to show leadership on this issue by following these 11 states to take action and stand up publicly to protect our children and join the lawsuit against the US Department of Justice and Department of Education’s unilateral redefinition of Title IX to include “gender identity.”

John Stemberger was recently in Washington DC and recorded a brief video in front of the White House which is going viral on social media.  The video entitled “I am LIVID!,” is a passionate criticism of President Obama and a open challenge to Governor Scott to take action and join the lawsuit. john dc bathroom
